• Oak Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Care Preview Event

Oak Pointe of Neosho, a new $7.3 million assisted living and memory-care community, today announced it is hosting a preview event for the public on Sat., Jan. 30th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will include tours of the community and apartments, food, and door prizes, as well as exclusive, limited-time offers for new residents. Magic 107.3 FM (KMJK) will broadcast live from the event. Julie Sheldon, executive director of Oak Pointe, said, ?We are in the home stretch now and getting very excited about our opening! We?ve had lots of inquiries from the community so we wanted to invite the public in to see what we?re all about before we officially open in March. This is also a chance for prospective residents to select the apartments they want, an option that won?t be available once the property opens. Most of all, this will be a great way for us to get to better know our neighbors and the community.? The preview event will include a brief presentation and discussion with Todd Spittal, president of Provision Living, which operates Oak Pointe. At 1 p.m., Spittal will speak in an open forum about the first steps in deciding to choose senior living. He will also be available to answer questions about the many features of Oak Pointe, such as its unique storm shelter made of reinforced concrete. Tours of the common areas and apartments will give guests an idea of the property layout and what it has to offer.
