Let's talk about Neosho at Wake Up Wednesday. Join us to hear the latest updates from the City of Neosho, Newton County, Neosho School District, Crowder College, Grow Neosho, and the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce, featuring our guest speaker, Gage McKinnis and Missouri Walnut!
"Missouri Walnut was founded in 2002 by a gentleman named Hong Hong Chen. The desire for Mr. Chen was to create a business that pushed the boundaries within the industry on how to process and handle lumber by utilizing cutting edge processes and technology. Missouri Walnut started its roots as a local sawmill focused on processing black walnut. Over the years as the company continued to grow it transitioned from a local mom and pop sawmill to a world leading lumber concentration yard that now processes black walnut and white oak. In the short 18 years of its existence Missouri Walnut has grown to the world’s largest walnut lumber producer, ships to over 42 countries worldwide, and provides the best quality lumber in high end markets such as trimmings in cars, gun stocks, plaques, and art frames in the most prestigious art galleries and theatres."
