    Job Description
    The Web Programmer/Analyst reports to the Director of Information Technology and is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining secure web-based interfaces to the existing administrative and student information system (Jenzabar EX) for use by faculty, students, staff, and alumni.
    Knowledge and Critical Skills/Experience include:
    Preferred Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred, work experience may be substituted
    2. Two or more years of web based development working with: ASP, .NET, C#, ,Java, Javascript, PHP
    3. Experience with Jenzabar JICS portal
    4. Experience with SQL RDBMS design
    5. IIS web server administration
    6. Basic networking and network protocols
    7. Working knowledge of WordPress
    1. Must be flexible and able to change projects and learn new skills as needed
    2. Detail-oriented but able to explain “big picture”
    3. Self-starter, motivated to work without abundant supervision
    4. Define realistic, specific goals and objectives and prioritize them
    5. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
    6. Communicate and work effectively with all individuals at all levels in the college community
    7. Identify problems and recommend and implement solutions
    8. Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
    9. Meet schedules and timelines
    10. Work in a technically diverse organization
    11. Use tact, patience and courtesy in all interactions
    12. Plan and organize work
    13. Work independently as well as in teams
    14. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, other professionals, staff, vendors, and the public.
