Lateral Transfer Patrolman

DEFINITIONPerforms general public duties, processes, or operations as well as specialized police assignments for the protection of life and property through the enforcement of federal and state laws, municipal ordinances, and adheres to the police department’s policy and procedures manual.SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISEDReceives supervision from the Police Chief and direct supervision from the Sergeant.  Exercises supervision in the absence of Corporal or Sergeant.  EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES
