“This has been a particularly challenging year with hospital blood usage increasing to the highest amounts we have seen in about ten years. So, as we head into a busy holiday weekend, Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is calling on our community members to think about local patients who will celebrate this weekend in a hospital,” said Michelle Teter, Media Relations Representative for CBCO. “Donating blood is a powerful way to support local patients, and this year’s “Down, Set, Donate!” drive adds a fun twist with a chance to win an incredible KC Chiefs tailgate package. It is a win-win, save lives and celebrate your team in style!”
To help avoid wait times, appointments are strongly encouraged. Donors can schedule an appointment www.cbco.org/down-set-donate/ or by calling 417-227-5006.
On behalf of local hospital patients, Community Blood Center of the Ozarks thanks blood donors from across the region for giving life to your community.
