  • Neosho Christmas Parade Update: Reminder on New Route, Candy Safety Policy & Extended Registration Deadline

NEOSHO, MO — November 18, 2025 Following the initial announcement of this year’s parade route, the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce is sharing additional updates and reminders to help participants and spectators prepare for the 2025 Neosho Christmas Parade, themed “Tropical Holiday.” The parade will take place on Saturday, December 6th at 5:00 PM, bringing festive, tropical-inspired cheer through the heart of downtown Neosho.
    Parade Route Reminder
The Chamber previously announced changes to the lineup area and route. As a reminder, parade staging will be in Morse Park. Entries will travel West on E. Spring Street, turn south onto South Washington Street, West on Hickory and North on Wood St. through downtown Neosho. The parade will end near Brook Street, where entries will safely disperse.
    Candy Distribution Policy
For the safety of all attendees and in compliance with the Chamber’s insurance policy, candy may NOT be thrown from vehicles, trailers, or floats at any point along the parade route.
Instead, all candy must be distributed by walkers, who will hand treats directly to children and spectators. Any entry wishing to pass out candy must have walkers alongside their vehicle. This rule is mandatory and helps prevent children from approaching moving vehicles.
Registration Extended Through November 24, 2025
Due to strong community interest, parade registration has been extended through November 24, 2025. Businesses, schools, clubs, organizations, and individuals are encouraged to sign up and participate in this year’s vibrant Tropical Holiday parade.
    Additional Information
Updated maps, lineup instructions, and staging details will be posted on the Chamber’s website and Facebook page. Participants are encouraged to review all guidelines carefully in advance of parade day.
The Neosho Christmas Parade remains a treasured holiday tradition, and this year’s tropical theme promises bright lights, creative floats, island-style fun, and plenty of community spirit.
