TOM SEARS JOINS FIRST COMMUNITY BANK
Batesville, AR (August 27, 2024) – First Community Bank is pleased to announce that Tom Sears has joined the bank as senior vice president, senior regional lender. Sears, who brings 18 years of banking experience to his new role, is based at the Neosho downtown branch located at 111 East Main Street.

Sears holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and real estate from Missouri State University and has a long history of involvement in community and nonprofit work. He serves as an executive board member of the Southwest Missouri Workforce Investment Board and has been actively involved in youth athletics, coaching his son David in baseball, soccer, basketball, and football. Additionally, he continues to support and engage with various nonprofit and civic organizations throughout the region.

Outside of work, Sears enjoys spending quality time with his wife Wendy and their three children—Anthony and Christina, both attending the University of Missouri, and David, who just started fourth grade. The family also includes three dogs and two cats. In his spare time, Sears enjoys youth sports, visiting his kids at Mizzou, relaxing and fishing at the lake, landscaping, yard work, and participating in community events.
